Memorandum of Cooperation Signed in Madrid

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Madrid between the National Human Rights Centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Centre for Development and Justice International (CDJI), Spain. The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the official visit of the Uzbek delegation to Spain.
The Memorandum marks the beginning of a strategic and long-term cooperation between the two institutions aimed at promoting and protecting human rights in Uzbekistan. The partnership seeks to contribute to sustainable reforms by strengthening the professional capacities of specialists working within the criminal justice system, enhancing institutional practices, and supporting the gradual alignment of national policies and practices with international human rights standards. Through this cooperation, both parties express their commitment to advancing a more effective, professional, and rights-based justice system in Uzbekistan.
